What the magnets do

Six high-strength magnets per light, seventy-two in the set, pre installed, machined to to fit perfelctly into the Widowmaker housing. Set a light, walk back, look at it, move it. No drilling, no holes you regret, no crawling back under to redo a bracket. Every early release kit ships with the full set included free.

THE WIRING SYSTEM

The part nobody else bothered to fix.

A normal twelve-light kit does not come with wiring, or comes with a slobby wiring system. Bulky full-length wires get run all over your frame, all twelve run into your engine bay, and now you are zip-tying a bird's nest next to your engine. This causes extreme heat, and poses a dangerous situation for your truck.

Widowmaker fixes this by running only 4 wires down your frame to cover the different sections of your truck. One wire covers the front wheel well and bumper lights, another to the frame lights, another the the rear wheel wells, and if additional length is needed, a longer wire for your rear bumper. Spreading the wiring in organized sections keeping your build clean.

Rock lights throw light down and out. They own the ground, the wells, and everything bolted under the truck. Wheel lights sit behind the face of the wheel and light the one part of the truck everybody looks at first. Run one and it is a good truck at night. Run both and it is the one people pull their phones out for.

Full Alloy Body
Every pod is machined aluminum alloy, not molded plastic. It sheds heat instead of trapping it, and it takes a hit from road debris without cracking.

Will this fit my truck?+
Fitment is universal, so there is no year and make lookup and no vehicle-specific brackets. The wiring lengths are cut for full-size trucks, all the way up to an F-350 or a 3500 series, so you have enough run without a pile of leftover slack to hide. Running something longer than that, or lifted well past stock? before you order and we will tell you straight whether the lengths work.
What actually makes the wiring different?+
Most twelve-light kits run all twelve wires the full length of the truck and land the whole bundle in your engine bay. The Widowmaker handles distribution underneath the truck and brings one clean run into the bay instead. Less bulk to hide, less to chafe, and a hood you are not embarrassed to pop at a meet.
Why twelve lights instead of eight?+
The 8 is built to light your wheel wells and suspension, with a few lights left over for the ground. The 12 adds four more so the ground is properly covered as well, instead of relying on spill. If your truck is lifted, the light has further to travel before it lands, and that is exactly where the extra four earn their place. Running stock height and mainly want the wells lit? The 8 is plenty.
How bright are they?+
This is the biggest and brightest rock light we have ever built. Each pod runs hundreds of LEDs, which is why the light reads as a solid pool rather than a bright dot with dark space around it. Across twelve pods you are lighting the full footprint of the truck and throwing spill well out past the tires.
What happens if I damage one light?+
You pull that one pod. Every light sits on its own short service lead, so you are not dragging a full length of wire back through the truck to deal with one damaged pod. It is a driveway job, not a weekend.
Do I get the magnet mounts?+
Yes. Every early release kit ships with the full Magnet Mount Set included free, six high-strength magnets per light and seventy-two in the set. They drop straight into the pod housing so you can place a light, stand back and look at it, and move it before you commit to anything permanent. Once the early release closes, the set goes back to being sold separately.
Are they actually waterproof?+
Yes, IP68 sealed, the highest common waterproof rating, in a full aluminum alloy body. Mud, wash bays, rain, and standing water are exactly what these are built to live in.
Should I run these with wheel lights?+
They do two different jobs. Rock lights own the ground, the wells, and everything under the truck. Wheel lights light the face of the wheel, which is the first thing anyone looks at. Plenty of guys run the Widowmaker on its own and it looks serious. Running it with a Cyclone set is what turns it into the build people walk over to.
Are rock lights street legal?+
Rules vary by state. Some restrict certain colors or flashing modes on public roads, and lighting laws change. Check your local regulations before running them on the street. Meets, shows, trails, and private property are fair game everywhere.
When will my kit ship?+
We build in limited batches instead of stocking a shelf, so every kit is made fresh and tested before it leaves Colorado. Your estimated ship date is shown at checkout, and under Details above the buy button. Order before the batch closes and your kit ships with it. If a batch ever runs a few days long, we email you the updated date.
What if I don't love them?+
Send them back within 14 days for a full refund, return shipping is on us. Between free shipping out, free returns back, and the 2-year warranty, the risk sits with us, not you.
